What Differentiates Our EVOO
EORA's PGI LAKONIA Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made from a perfect blend of Koroneiki and Athinolia varieties, each contributing with their best qualities. Koroneiki is known for its exceptionally high polyphenol content, while Athinolia is one of the oldest olive varieties in Greece primarily found in Laconia, known for its smooth and well-balanced flavour. Our suppliers consistently produce olive oil with an outstanding maximum acidity level of 0.4%, which is way below the 0.8% threshold. The peroxide value is also impressively low at ~6, again well
below the extra virgin limit of 20. Most notably, our oil boasts an exceptionally high polyphenol content of ~614 mg/kg, far exceeding the health claim threshold of 250 mg/kg offering both exceptional flavour and remarkable health benefits
